How we moderate

Interim · 2 October 2026

  1. Automatic checks

When a review is sent, software looks for phone numbers, email addresses, apartment numbers, names next to a job title, threats and slurs, and for copies of other reviews. It flags; it doesn't decide.
  2. A person reads it

Every review, for now. They can approve it, remove a personal detail, ask the author a question, or reject it on one of the grounds in our guidelines. They don't see who wrote it or whether the author is verified; that is never a reason to approve or reject.
  3. A delay before it appears

An approved review goes up 3 to 10 days later, at a random time. If every review appeared the moment it was written, the timing alone could point to the author. In a small building, a lone review may wait up to three weeks for a second one.
  4. Reports

Anyone can report a published review. A person reads every report.

The author is told what happened at each step, and can reply to any decision. If they delete their account, their published reviews stay up, anonymous, with a note saying so.
